Software QA Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Software QA Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through a combination of manual and automated testing. This role requires a professional who is not only proficient in executing test plans but also capable of designing, developing, and maintaining our automated testing frameworks from the ground up. This is a full-time remote role. Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and bug fixes to ensure high-quality software delivery. Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, both manually and using automated scripts. Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand project requirements, provide timely feedback, and ensure testability of features. Identify, document, and track software defects in a clear and concise manner using a bug-tracking system (Jira). Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports on product quality and testing progress. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance and automation. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a QA Engineer. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficiency in Manual Testing Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and tools. Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Rest-Assured). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and remotely Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Nice to have

Experience with CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and integrating automated tests. Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of SQL and database concepts. Experience in logistics or supply chain management is a plus Seniority level
