Responsibilities

  • Previous experience of mentoring junior team members desirable but not essential.
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
  • IT consultancy.
  • Website consultancy - including usability and accessibility.
  • Application design and development.
  • Database design and development.
  • Internet / Intranet design, development, and hosting.
  • Website content management solutions.
  • Online survey software.

Job Specification

Mandatory skills :

  • Very good knowledge of Java and J2EE.
  • Active experience with Java / J2EE.
  • Active experience as a Java Team Leader in structured teams.
  • Active experience with Spring 2, Hibernate 3, JUnit.
  • Good knowledge of OOA-OOP, UML, ability to architect and design software products.
  • Good understanding of client-server and service-oriented architectures.
  • Motivated and dependable, has initiative, understands responsibility, team player.
  • Abilities to lead, inspire, motivate, and mentor people.
  • Very good written and spoken English communication skills.

    • Desirable skills :

  • Active experience with JEE 5, JSE 5 / 6, JSF, BEA WebLogic Portal Server, portlets, JDBC / SQL, SQL Server 2005.
  • Eclipse, Subversion / CVS, Cruise Control, Windows, Linux.
