Software QA Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through a combination of manual and automated testing. This role requires a professional who is not only proficient in executing test plans but also capable of designing, developing, and maintaining our automated testing frameworks from the ground up. This is a full-time remote role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and bug fixes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, both manually and using automated scripts.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand project requirements, provide timely feedback, and ensure testability of features.
• Identify, document, and track software defects in a clear and concise manner using a bug-tracking system (Jira).
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports on product quality and testing progress.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance and automation.
