Grants and Projects Associate

The Grants and Project Associate works directly with the CBS Management to maintain and optimize grants related data process and procedures. This includes seeking out national and international grant opportunities, developing proposals in collaboration with LUMS faculty members, managing communication with the funding organizations, liaising with the Office of Research for compliance and ensuring timely submission for grant application. Key Responsibilities : Research and seek out funding opportunities including grants, consultancies, and sponsorships. Regularly keep track of national and international calls for proposals aligned with the Centre’s strategic vision and maintain a grant database. Draft Expression of Interest (EOI) forms for the faculty members based on the requirements and TORs of the donor / funding body and manage the call for EOIs. Collaborate with faculty PIs / consultants to conceptualize the project design, draft proposal, identify project partners, develop M&E and budget, and consolidate all the components of the grant application. Handle the complete grant cycle from the application stage to the award stage. Coordinate with the LUMS Office of Research (OR) to gather documentation and manage the Centre’s applications on the GAMES portal. Facilitate the team in conducting the Centre’s programmes and activities, as well as in developing liaison with internal and external stakeholders to explore grant partnership / consortium opportunities. Knowledge & Skills : Project coordination and implementation skills. Strong analytical and writing skills. Effective time management skills. Basic understanding of writing grant applications and developing budgets. Experience : 2-3 years of experience in the development sector.
