Our finance function is headquartered in Lahore, and this role will play a central leadership role in strengthening and developing it.
The Role
We are hiring a Financial Controller to lead the group’s finance operations out of our Lahore office.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building discipline and excellence in financial operations, internal controls, and cash flow management — while also supporting fundraising and investment activities across the group.
The role works closely with the Head of Financial Reporting and Head of FP&A, and serves as the operational deputy to the Group CFO.

Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations & Leadership
Lead daily finance operations across multiple business units and jurisdictionsBuild, mentor, and performance-manage the finance team in LahoreFoster a culture of ownership, discipline, and professionalismAccounting, Reporting & Audit
Oversee month-end and year-end close, consolidation, and IFRS-compliant reportingManage internal and statutory audits and maintain strong control frameworksEnsure tax compliance and regulatory filings across relevant jurisdictionsTreasury, Cash Flow & Working Capital
Oversee daily / weekly / monthly cash flow managementImprove working capital across payables, receivables, and inventory cyclesMaintain and develop banking and trade finance relationshipsSystems, Risk & Continuous Improvement
Drive ERP and financial process standardisation across the groupIdentify financial risks and implement mitigation controlsImprove automation, visibility, and data accuracyStrategic & Fundraising Support
Support debt and equity fundraising activitiesContribute to financial models, investor materials, and capital planning scenariosParticipate in lender and investor discussions where requiredRequired Qualifications & Experience
CA (ICAP) or ACA (ICAEW) (preferred)(ACCA considered only with proven senior controller leadership experience)Big 4 or strong audit firm background10+ years total finance experience, including 3–5+ years in a senior finance leadership or controller roleStrong command of IFRS, consolidation, controls, treasury, and audit governanceProficient with ERP / accounting systems and advanced ExcelDesired Skills (Strong Advantage)
Experience in multi-entity or international group financeExposure to fundraising, banking facilities, or investor reportingAbility to set direction, hold standards, and lead with clarityStrong communicator — comfortable working directly with senior leadershipBonus (Not Required, but Valued)
