We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant (ACCA Qualified/Affiliate) to join our growing finance services team.

This role is ideal for an ACCA Affiliate or recently qualified professional who is looking to complete their Practical Experience Requirement (PER) while gaining hands-on exposure to international accounting reporting and valuation-related work.

You will work closely with senior accountants and managers supporting multiple international clients across various industries. The role involves working with U.S.-based clients and candidates must be comfortable with flexible working hours aligned with U.S. time zones (Eastern Central/Mid-West etc.) depending on project requirements.

Requirements

• Maintain and review bookkeeping records for international clients
  

• Assist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements
  

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  

• Perform bank reconciliations balance sheet schedules and variance analysis
  

• Assist with management reporting and preparation of MIS packs
  

• Support VAT tax filings and compliance work (jurisdiction-specific where applicable)
  

• Assist senior team members with financial analysis forecasting due diligence and valuation support
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams serving global clients
  

• Ensure accuracy timeliness and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• ACCA Qualified (Affiliate)
  

• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting
  

• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks Xero or similar preferred)
  

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel (formulas pivot tables basic financial analysis)
  

• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset
  

• Good written and verbal communication skills
  

• Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
  

• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced client-facing environment
