Core Responsibilities
Responsible for marketing & selling of group products of Cable Industry to the corporate sector of the country, including commercial, industrial and infrastructural retrofitting, expansions and new projects in the corporate sector of Pakistan.
40% office work in the office and 60% field work.
Functions
- Marketing
- Supervising & supporting Corporate Sales teams
- Handling key accounts sales and marketing
- Establishing contacts with potential clients and consultants
- Guiding and training junior sales staff on group products, sales and marketing techniques
- Handling meetings with key accounts, clients and consultants to enhance product sales of group
- Attending exhibitions and other sales avenues to promote group products
- Preparing quotations under Corporate Head guidelines and clarifying with customers if necessary
- Negotiating quotations with customers under given guidelines in terms of discounts, payment terms and production period. May seek support of Corporate Head if deemed necessary
- Receiving orders from customers, and releasing them for production after technical and commercial clarifications
- Arranging payments, both advance and final in accordance with the purchase order
- Coordinating dispatch of material with Operations and customer to ensure timely and correct delivery
- Following up credit payments, receiving them and depositing to finance, ensuring payments are accurately entered in ledgers
- Coordinating customer inspection / FAT as and when required in plant
- Regular meetings with customers to tally payment ledgers and obtain information on new requirements
- Supporting sales staff on negotiations with clients and closing deals
- Monitoring and administrating performance of sales staff
- Preparing Sales Reports for Management on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Providing performance feedback of the sales team to management and suggesting improvements
- Preparing and providing marketing data analysis reports to management
