Job Overview We’re looking for a

Senior Backend Engineer (Remote)

with strong expertise in

Node.js, TypeScript, and scalable application development . As part of our

Engineering team , you will design, develop, and optimize backend systems that power high-performance applications used by millions of creators. This is a high-impact role where you’ll contribute to building next-generation software solutions in a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

scalable backend applications

using Node.js and TypeScript.

Build and optimize

RESTful APIs

and cloud-based solutions.

Ensure high-performance, low-latency applications for global users.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, product managers, designers).

Implement

unit, integration, and load testing

for reliability.

Drive innovation by contributing to

system architecture and design decisions .

Requirements

5+ years

of backend development experience.

Strong expertise in

Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Redis, and SQL databases .

Proven experience in building

consumer-facing scalable applications .

Solid understanding of

computer science fundamentals

(data structures, algorithms, performance optimization).

Hands-on experience with

cloud services

(Google Cloud, DigitalOcean, AWS).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)

Experience with

high-traffic, low-latency applications .

Strong

DevOps and CI / CD pipeline knowledge .

Background in

AI, Digital Signal Processing (DSP) , or advanced SQL optimization.

Open-source contributions.
