We are seeking a Backend Developer with strong Node.js and Express.js experience to design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs. You will build and manage microservices and containerized applications using Docker and Docker Compose, design and optimize relational and non-relational databases, and ensure scalability, security, and performance of backend systems. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using

Node.js and Express.js . Build and manage

microservices

and containerized applications using

Docker & Docker Compose . Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases ( MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis ). Ensure scalability, security, and performance of backend systems. Implement caching, message queues, and other techniques for high-performance systems. Write clean, modular, and testable code following best practices. Troubleshoot and debug production issues in a timely manner. Work closely with the DevOps team for

deployment, monitoring, and CI / CD pipelines . Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with

HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap 4, Tailwind CSS, and JavaScript -based applications. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). 0 to 1 years of experience in backend development. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Solid understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles. Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams. Strong experience with

Node.js

and

Express.js . Knowledge of

microservices architecture

and containerization with

Docker . Hands-on experience with databases :

MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis . Solid understanding of frontend fundamentals ( HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind, JavaScript ) for API integration. Experience with

AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)

for cloud-based deployments. Familiarity with

CI / CD pipelines

using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. Understanding of

DevOps practices

for application deployment and scaling. Ability to design and implement scalable

software architectures . Associate title and skills
