1. Develop a research and documentation strategy and its implementation for ITA teams in Pakistan / Regions. 2. Manage all aspects of the research projects. 3. Spearhead the long-term research objective of the ITA, provide consultation and support to key evaluation components of the ITAs programs, and disseminate research findings. 4. Contribute to the ITAs work in building the field among researchers, practitioners, and policy makers at the local, regional and national level. 5. Direct and oversee research at the ITA, including research design, implementation, analysis, and project development. 6. Oversee projects and initiatives related to integrated services and systems that support community development, such as community schools. 7. Disseminate and publish research findings, briefs, research publications, and articles for various audiences to advance the work of the ITA. 8. Investigate grant opportunities, write and develop grant proposals to support the sustainability of the research team, and supervise others on the team in this process. 9. Be an active member of the ITA leadership team, contributing to organizational development by collaborating with other strategy and program areas, supporting grant writing efforts, attending staff meetings and retreats, and participating in organization-wide operational efforts. The incumbent must have the ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research studies and evaluation, with experience in the education or development sector. Demonstrated writing ability with a track record of securing grants and publishing academic articles is required. Teaching experience at the university level, as well as supervisory experience with university students at various stages of study, is highly preferred. The candidate must have strong interpersonal and collaborative skills in working with researchers and practitioners. The successful candidate will be organized, able to multitask, and handle timelines and priorities in a team environment. Must be enthusiastic about working across disciplines and community sectors.
