What does a Cyber Security Expert do?

A Cyber Security Expert designs, implements, and manages security solutions across enterprise and cloud environments. The role requires expertise in firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM / SOC operations, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and compliance frameworks — while leveraging modern cloud security platforms like Cloudflare to ensure robust protection.

What are we looking for and what does it require to be a Cyber Security Expert at Garaj Cloud?

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Expert with hands‑on experience in Fortinet firewalls, Trend Micro endpoint and anti‑malware solutions, Cloudflare application and network security, and SOC / SIEM operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of VAPT, security governance, risk management, and compliance with global standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.).

Responsibilities

Security Operations & Monitoring

• Manage SOC operations including incident detection, analysis, and response.
• Administer SIEM platforms for log collection, correlation, and threat detection.
• Investigate security alerts and perform root cause analysis.

Firewall, Endpoint & Cloud Security

Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT)

Governance, Risk & Compliance

Cloud & Virtualization Security
