Masters in Molecular Biology / BioTechnology / MLT
A product manager is responsible for managing the company's marketing & sales initiatives. Uses market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning. Oversees the sales of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns.
Key Duties and Job Descriptions :
- Assume an active leadership role in the development and implementation of sales strategies to attain assigned sales objectives.
- Ensure that his team achieves organizational goals and quality objectives within the prescribed time.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets by using strategic sales plans.
- Retain, extend, and acquire customers through effective identification of opportunities and specific needs for our industry.
- Establish / build strong customer relationships that provide growth, profitability, and predictability.
- Monitor and improve sales team performance by closely working together with team members.
- Build ongoing knowledge of current industry trends, competitive information, and industry / technical knowledge and disseminate that information with company colleagues, especially with his team via training.
- Manage daily activities of sales staff such as customer visits, follow-ups, sales calls, complaint handling, etc.
- Increase sales growth by expanding the market and sales volume.
- Develop marketing strategies and effective promotional and marketing campaigns. Helps to detail, design, and implement marketing plans for each product or service being offered.
- Sets marketing schedules and coordinates with colleagues, sponsors, media representatives, and other professionals to implement strategies across multiple channels.
- Responsible for planning and organizing all the company-related events including symposiums.
- Analyse trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance.
- Interview, hire, manage, and direct members of the company’s marketing and sales team.
- Ensure that he, himself, and his team follow company policies.
- Attend trade shows and travel to meet clients as needed.
- Coordinate with the CEO on all the functions / activities of the Sales & Marketing Department.
- Create and present regular performance reports for CEO / management review.
- Coordinate with the Compliance Department regarding disposal of queries relating to assigned products.
- Prepare marketing plans for new products and carry out pre and post-launch activities including market research, clinical trial, awareness programs, etc.
- Initiate management approval, annual expenses, and sales budget and operate within the framework of approved expenses to achieve budgeted sales.
- Any other job responsibility assigned by the CEO.
