Accountant Quickbook

We at Voyentra are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage our company's daily financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with financial reporting. This role requires proficiency in spreadsheet software and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Financial Record Keeping :

Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately in our financial systems, primarily Google Sheets or Excel.

Process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.

Maintain and update financial records and general ledgers to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Reconciliation & Reporting :

Perform regular bank and credit card statement reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Assist in preparing basic financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, for management review.

System and Tool Management :

Utilize and maintain financial data in spreadsheets, specifically Google Sheets and Excel.

Have experience with or a willingness to learn accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero. Training will be provided as needed.

General Duties :

Manage and file all financial documents and receipts for auditing purposes.

Assist with other accounting or administrative tasks as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience : A minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.

Technical Proficiency :

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data entry and reporting.

Experience with accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero is a plus.

Core Competencies :

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

A strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
