Head Of Estimation

Monitor and control the delivery of the estimating strategy aligned with the Business Plan and Revenue forecast by leading the estimating team in sales, bidding, and tendering processes to meet the company's objectives. Accountabilities :

Act as the main point of accountability for the estimating team, guiding them in preparing accurate and high-quality quotations and bids to improve responsiveness and success rates. Evaluate client specifications, Terms and Conditions, and assess their credibility. Provide advice on cyclical and weekly planning processes as required. Review the Tender / Order Review Checklist (IMS-COM-F-0002) to guide the estimation team and ensure comprehensive consideration of policies, standards, pricing strategies, and procedures. Allocate estimation resources considering workload and skill levels to meet quotation KPIs. Engage with Owners / Global Agents to improve estimation accuracy and project securing chances. Evaluate invoicing performance and reasons for not being awarded, providing corrective recommendations to management. Perform other duties as assigned. Prioritize safety and well-being of oneself and colleagues, adhere to health & safety protocols, participate in wellness programs, and report concerns promptly. Qualifications :

A Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1 (Motor Ship) or equivalent.
