Software Developer

Insignia Software is a software solution provider with its head office in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Insignia is a leading solution provider for Library Automation System and Student Information System. We are opening a software house in Bahria, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. In phase I we will be hiring 10-20 staff of different skills in early 2024. In phase II we will hire an additional 20-30 staff by the end of Summer 2024.

The team will provide support for existing products (Insignia Student Management System, Insignia Library System) and new products to be developed. The team being assembled includes project manager, senior / intermediate software developers, graphic designer, and testers.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining current and future software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance staff, to create high-quality software solutions.

Office hours are Pakistan local time; managers are expected to work twice a week in the evening for meetings with other team members in Edmonton.

PKR 150,000- PKR 400,000 / month depending on the position applied for and candidate experience, education, and leadership qualities.
