Senior Wordpress Developer

Bachelors in Computer Science or related field InfloWay Technologies (a US based IT company) is seeking a WordPress Theme Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes from scratch and plugins. Please note that this is an evening shift job and your job timings will be 2pm – 11pm (5 days a week). If you are not skilled in Theme development / Custom Theme creation, then please do not apply to this job. JOB DESCRIPTION :

Execute coding of web-related projects. PSD to WordPress – Custom Theme Development from Scratch. Develop new sites and maintain existing sites with enhancements. Create bespoke plugins and develop modules for WordPress. Document technical and functional specifications. Ensure that we meet commercial 'go-live' deadlines. Other ad-hoc duties as required. Required SKILLS : Must have professional experience of at least 2 years or more in WordPress Theme Creation from Scratch. Good knowledge of programming in Core PHP is required. Good knowledge of Database design and writing SQL queries. Good knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, jQuery and PHP Frameworks. Excellent understanding of web frontend and WordPress themes. Proficient in creating responsive themes from SCRATCH, PSD to WordPress. Must have the ability to create custom post types and custom fields. Creation of clean, logical, well-documented and re-usable code. Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and complete tasks in a timely manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
