Responsibilities
Staying up to date with market practices and new developments. Implementation of AML / CFT Program of the bank. Manage team of analysts, assign cases, reviewing their work and ensuring adequate supporting documentation for closure of cases. Maintain record of information requests generated for analyzing / investigating cases. Perform periodic reviews for improvement / optimization of transaction monitoring indicators. Analyze, assess and process Transaction Monitoring (AML) / Sanction Screening alerts inline with TATs along with logical evidences and appropriate comments. Perform quality review of transaction monitoring / Sanction Screening cases. Review Suspicious Transaction Reports and ensure same is supported by adequate evidences. Ensure adequate record keeping inline with applicable laws and regulations. Act as POC for all TMS related inspections and audits. Develop plan and ensure timely closure of inspection and audit observations. Maintain close coordination with vendor for transaction monitoring and sanctions related matters. Maintain adequate records transaction monitoring and sanctions activities for further reporting to regulator, management and board. Capacity building of team to keep them up to date with evolving trends and provide guidance on effective transaction monitoring techniques. Collaborate with other departments / functions for meeting objective of AML / CFT function. Ensure completion of tasks assigned by line manager.
