Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end microservices-based architectures for scalable and resilient platforms (e.g., payments, wallets, lending, digital onboarding etc.).
• Define API-led integration and orchestration using WSO2 API Manager, ESB, and Micro Integrator .
• Architect event-driven systems leveraging Kafka and RabbitMQ for real-time processing and asynchronous communication.
• Develop high-availability and fault-tolerant deployment models using OpenShift, Nginx , and service mesh patterns .
• Produce architecture blueprints, technical roadmaps, and component interaction models aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• API lifecycle management using WSO2 — including design, publishing, versioning, throttling, and monitoring.
• Implement API gateway security , rate limiting, and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, mutual TLS).
• Orchestrate complex backend services into unified APIs for aggregated operations (e.g., transactions, KYC, risk management).
• Collaborate with partners and clients to ensure secure and efficient third-party integrations.
• Define data architecture across MySQL , MongoDB , and PostgreSQL , ensuring performance, replication, and scalability.
• Implement Redis-based caching for low-latency data retrieval and performance optimization.
• Ensure data consistency using event sourcing, CQRS, and SAGA patterns in distributed systems.
• Define data backup, recovery, and high-availability strategies.
• Drive capacity planning, performance tuning, and load testing to meet target TPS and SLA requirements.
• Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and analytics using ELK Stack integrated with APM tools.
• Ensure zero-downtime deployments, load balancing, and auto-scaling using OpenShift and Nginx .
• Design systems with 99.9%+ uptime , RPO ≤1 minute , and RTO ≤30 minutes through robust replication and DR setups.
• Define and enforce secure coding, data encryption, and tokenization standards across services.
• Collaborate with InfoSec teams to perform threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and audits.
• Ensure full compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
• Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to translate business goals into technical solutions.
• Provide technical inputs for RFPs, proposals, and client engagements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies (serverless, AI / ML, blockchain, Open Finance APIs).
• Promote architecture reviews, technical innovation, and system optimization initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement across performance, reliability, and maintainability dimensions.
