Content Marketer

The Content Marketer is responsible for creating high-quality, original, and SEO-optimized content that aligns with client objectives and brand voice. The role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging digital content across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Write original, engaging, and SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, landing pages, advertisements, email campaigns, and social media.

Understand client branding, tone of voice, and content goals to develop cohesive and effective messaging.

Conduct audience and competitor research, including keyword analysis, to support content strategy and improve performance.

Collaborate with SEO specialists to incorporate best practices into all written materials.

Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammatical correctness, and consistency in tone and structure.

Update and repurpose existing content to maintain freshness, relevance, and improved engagement metrics.

Follow content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all assigned tasks and deliverables.

Work cross-functionally with marketing, design, and digital teams to develop integrated campaigns.

Liaise with clients when required to understand project needs, gather feedback, and align content strategy.

Prepare and submit weekly reports on content performance, analytics, and overall tasks.

Contribute innovative ideas, share creative input, and communicate effectively within the team and with the team lead.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in content writing or a similar digital marketing role.

Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital content trends.

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.

Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and adapt tone and style based on brand guidelines.

Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and tools like Google Docs, Grammarly, or SurferSEO is a plus.

Strong collaboration and communication skills.
