As Credentialing Specialist - of CHM you will be liable to perform the following job duties :         Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Coordinate and manage the end-to-end credentialing process for healthcare providers including initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and de-credentialing.

Verify the accuracy and authenticity of all provider credentials including licenses, certifications, education, training, and experience.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate credentialing databases and files, ensuring quick and efficient retrieval of information when needed.

Collaborate with different departments, including legal and billing, to facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular audits of the credentialing files to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to credentialing and implement necessary changes in the credentialing process.

Assist in negotiating contract terms and maintaining contractual documents with providers.

Serve as a point of contact for providers and other stakeholders for all credentialing-related inquiries and issues.

Prepare and present credentialing reports to management and relevant committees.
