Care1 is seeking an experienced full time QA Automation Engineer to join our Pakistan based team of engineers. Candidates must be based in Pakistan . To ensure effective collaboration with our Canadian based team, candidates must have daily working hours that overlap from 10 : 00 AM to 2 : 00 PM Pacific Time (PT) , Monday to Friday.

This is a hands‑on engineering role where you are expected to write test code focused on Selenium‑based test automation, real‑world user behavior, and production readiness. You’ll work closely with our QA Lead based in Canada , and play a key role in expanding our automated test coverage repository as we scale.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our QA Lead and Operations Manager to translate real‑world scenarios into scalable, repeatable test cases.
• Design, write, and maintain Selenium‑based automated end‑to‑end tests for core user workflows, following our established test infrastructure, coding standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the QA Lead to enhance and maintain the test suite and automation framework for reliability, scalability, and ease of use.
• Support DevOps in maintaining the integration of automated tests within our CI / CD pipelines and staging workflows.
• Act as a QA gatekeeper for staging releases , ensuring builds meet our quality standards and are production‑ready.
• Identify regressions, monitor quality metrics, and proactively improve test coverage and QA best practices in coordination with the QA Lead.
