Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineering / Bsc. Hons. Engg. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of solar energy systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and reliability. Key Responsibilities : System Design : Develop detailed mechanical designs for solar power systems, including photovoltaic (PV) modules, mounting structures, and thermal systems. Simulation and Analysis : Perform simulations and analyses to optimize the performance and reliability of solar energy systems. Prototyping and Testing : Create prototypes and conduct tests to validate design concepts and ensure compliance with industry standards. Project Management : Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Technical Support : Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of solar power systems. Compliance and Safety : Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Documentation : Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports. Technical Skills : CAD Software Proficiency : Expertise in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA for creating detailed mechanical designs and drawings. Simulation and Analysis Tools : Experience with simulation software like ANSYS, MATLAB, or similar tools for performing thermal, structural, and fluid dynamics analyses. Mechanical Design : Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including material selection, structural analysis, and thermodynamics. Renewable Energy Systems : Knowledge of solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) modules, solar thermal systems, and balance of system components. Manufacturing Processes : Familiarity with manufacturing processes and techniques, including machining, welding, and 3D printing.
