Job Summary :
As the Business Operations Lead, the individual will be responsible for establishing and managing comprehensive truck dispatching business operations. This role demands a strategic approach to driving business growth, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders—including carriers, brokers, and industry partners—and expanding the organization’s presence in the U.S. trucking market. The Business Operations Lead will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including dispatchers, sales agents, IT support, and compliance specialists, to deliver an exceptional client experience. By aligning operational efforts with the company's strategic objectives, the lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless service delivery and achieving organizational growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive truck dispatching business operations that align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Establish standardized procedures and workflows to optimize efficiency and service delivery.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities to expand the organization’s footprint within the U.S. trucking market.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance revenue streams and increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including carriers, brokers, and industry partners.
- Act as a liaison to address stakeholder needs, foster collaboration, and ensure long-term partnerships.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including dispatchers, sales agents, IT support, and compliance specialists, to achieve seamless service delivery.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to team members to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop and implement initiatives to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience.
- Address client feedback proactively and work with teams to improve services.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and service quality.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in the U.S. trucking industry.
- Adapt operational strategies to meet evolving market demands and maintain competitiveness.
- Ensure all operations comply with federal and state regulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) mandates.
- Implement compliance monitoring systems and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.Experience :
2-3 years of experience in leading truck dispatching business operations.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.Skills :
