Job Description

We are looking for competent " Node.js Developer " who must have diverse expertise in backend of business applications and web services using node.js. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of software development best practices, agile methodology, including coding standards, and continuous integration.

This is a full-time onsite job.

What We Want From You

Expert in database architecture and creating RestFull API, Graph QL, etc using Node.JS. Design and build core frameworks on Node.JS, shared services, NPM packages, and RESTful / socket APIs. Expert in developing strong and powerful backend with complex features using MEAN or MERN. Translates complex requirements into an easy to understand user experience by following the user-centered design process. Document and follow best design and development practices. Follow best practices around source control, deployment, and issue tracking. Deep knowledge of functional programming and object oriented concept with respect to JavaScript. Evaluate and perform design tradeoffs regarding the architecture and software components. Must have hands-on experience with EmberJS or ReactJS. Proficiency in google maps API’s and Sockets. Experience with source / version control systems such as GIT. Experience with build management tools such as Bamboo, Maven.

Qualifications

2-4 years of professional experience as a Node.js / Backend JavaScript Developer. Excellent oral and written English communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with team members of varied backgrounds in Pakistan or US office. BS / MS in computer science / engineering, or relevant engineering discipline / experience preferred. Eagerness to learn new technologies quickly. Knowledge of object oriented design, design patterns and core java coding principles. Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications. Experience with automated software testing, real-time system integration, database programming, web technologies, and cloud technologies (AWS preferred). Working knowledge of JavaScript, Vue.js, Java Redis and AWS. Experience and comfort working within a dynamic and agile-focused environment.
