Job description

We are a UK-based accounting back-office with a growing team in Rawalpindi. Our firm provides accounting, taxation, and compliance support to UK clients. We are looking for a motivated Semi-Senior Accountant to join our Rawalpindi office team.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and finalization of accounts for UK clients.
  • Preparing and filing corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Working on UK accounting and tax software, particularly TaxCalc and Sage.
  • Assisting in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and VAT returns.
  • Liaising with the UK team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client work.
  • Supporting senior accountants in handling client queries and HMRC submissions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (UK-based client experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of accounts finalization.
  • Proficiency in TaxCalc and Sage software (experience with other UK accounting software is a plus).
  • Good understanding of UK tax and accounting regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    • Education

  • Part-qualified ACCA / CA / ICMA or equivalent professional qualification
  • B.Com BSc Accounting and Finance, BBA
