Job description

The Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets and expand our client base across various industries. This role requires a proven track record in B2B sales, startup experience, and the ability to adapt to market changes and shifts in sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be strategic, results‑oriented, and passionate about driving success in a competitive marketplace.

Job Responsibilities

Sales Strategy Development :

Develop and implement innovative sales strategies that align with the changing needs of diverse industries, adapting to market trends, regulatory updates, and evolving customer demands.

Team Leadership :

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets, providing ongoing coaching and development.

Market Analysis :

Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging opportunities, monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts.

Client Acquisition :

Identify, target, and secure potential clients across various industries, building strong connections with key decision‑makers.

Change Management :

Drive the sales team’s ability to adapt to market changes by developing and implementing change‑management strategies.

Sales Presentations :

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to each industry, articulating the value of our solutions.

Sales Pipeline Management :

Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools, track activities, forecast revenue, and report performance.

Collaboration :

Work closely with marketing, operations, and client‑success teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and ensure a seamless client experience.

Industry Networking :

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a sales‑management role.

Proven experience working within a startup environment.

Strong understanding of B2B operations, market trends, and the unique challenges faced by businesses in various industries.

Excellent leadership and team‑management skills, guiding teams through market shifts and strategy changes in a startup setting.

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a dynamic B2B market.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, building and maintaining relationships with B2B clients and internal teams.

Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, focusing on adapting to new market demands.

Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and adaptable to thrive in a fast‑paced, startup environment.

Experience leading teams through change, especially transitioning to new industries or adopting new sales strategies.

Technical and Work Environment Requirements

Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps; backup connection of at least 10 Mbps.

Backup internet connection capable of supporting work during a power outage.

Desktop or laptop equipped with an Intel Core i5 (8th‑gen or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th‑gen or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or equivalent processor, and a minimum of 8 GB RAM.

Backup device meeting or exceeding the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor, functional during power interruptions.

Peripherals : functioning webcam, noise‑canceling USB headset, quiet dedicated home office space, and smartphone for communication.
