What is Head of Business Development?
The Head of Business Development will be responsible for driving growth, partnerships, and revenue generation for The Software Factory across Data, IT, Analytics, Precision Marketing, AI, and Managed Services. This role requires a seller’s mindset, someone who can create, shape, and close opportunities while also building long-term, strategic relationships with C-level executives. As the commercial custodian of The Software Factory, the Head of BD will lead go-to-market strategy, client acquisition, alliances, and deal execution, ensuring that we become the preferred partner for enterprise-grade software and data services.

Deliver sustainable growth through strategic business development initiatives.
Go-to-Market & Solution Development
Lead solutioning efforts, RFP responses, and proposal development.

Strategic Partnerships & Alliances

Commercial Execution & Negotiation

What are we looking for in the Head of Business Development? Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
MBA strongly preferred.
Experience
12+ years of enterprise IT / Data sales experience, with a focus on solution selling.
Proven track record of multi-million-dollar deal closures in B2B / enterprise environments.
Experience in consulting or system integration firms is a strong plus.
Soft Skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong resilience and drive.
Exceptional C-level communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
Commercial acumen to structure and deliver win-win deals.
