About the role

We are excited to be adding to our DeFi Dapp engineering team in our Pakistan office! You will assist in building our amazing brand through web and native projects. This is a unique opportunity to be immersed in a phenomenal team working on the gaming evolution, working on new and exciting things, all while working with some of the best and most talented devs in the industry. You will be a part of a company of super-achievers who work together to bring forth the evolution of decentralized finance. The ideal candidate has prior DeFi protocol development experience, excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. We want someone with experience and passion for web3, smart contracts, and DeFi primitives. We would love someone with a deep understanding of blockchain architecture, strong protocol design skills, and an impressive track record for working in a fast‑paced, evolving, DeFi‑focused environment.

What you'll do

• Build, configure, and maintain our AWS infrastructure
• Manage GitLab security, including pipeline security, Docker images, and container scanning
• Develop and maintain backend services, including VLANs, authentication, and encryption
• Working with the larger DevOps team at Gala to accomplish company‑wide goals, as well as maintaining direct team contributions.
• Implement and manage security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and security
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and deploy new features and services
• Monitor infrastructure and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications

Note : This role is onsite at our Lahore office (not remote), where you’ll be part of a collaborative and fast‑growing team. We work the night shift to align with U.S. hours , giving you the unique opportunity to partner directly with international colleagues, contribute to global projects, and grow in an environment that’s both dynamic and supportive.
