Coding
To ensure that all relevant assigned coding tasks, and requests are accurately coded, allcoding clarification and review requests are addressed and dealt with in a timely fashion at
all times and on an ongoing basis. This includes :
Reviewing and vetting SOAP Notes (E&M, CPT, HCPCS, Modifier and ICD-10)
Assigning relevant codes to Operative Reports and SOAP Notes (E&M, CPT, HCPCS,Modifier and ICD-10)
Guiding staff around coding and denial issuesAchieving complete coding accuracyDoing necessary ongoing research to stay current with all relevant industry, medical specialty and regulatory coding issuesKeeping all certifications and association memberships current and validAdministration
Attend and participate in all relevant team meetings as requested.Ensure that effective interdepartmental communication is adhered to at all times.Adhere to all relevant departmental, company, and compliance policies and procedures atall times.
