The Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences The department is a fresh and vibrant identity for ophthalmology at AKU, poised to deliver subspecialised and multidisciplinary services in an environment that supports teaching, learning, research, partnerships, and leadership development. Our faculty work closely with a team of 40+ specialised medical staff, nurses, optometrists, technicians and others to offer comprehensive eye care for adults and children. These include (but are not limited to) surgery for cataract, corneal transplant, retinal disorders, glaucoma, orbital and facial reconstruction, refractive, squint and ophthalmic tumors. Most of these services are delivered through the outpatient consulting clinics and / or day care surgery. This is a short-term grant-funded contractual position. Responsibilities
You will be responsible to : give oral instructions and information to patients and parents in colloquial English and Urdu communicate effectively with patients, parents, and colleagues demonstrate professional integrity in all interactions maintain a mature, reliable, and responsible approach to work understand and follow instructions accurately speak and understand job-related English and Urdu fluently. Requirements
You should have : at least six months of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting experience in patient interaction, including appointment scheduling and collecting patient information basic administrative skills such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
