Compliance Consultant

Role Budget : 60,000-65,000 PKR Per Month. Job Summary : The Remote Compliance Consultant is responsible for ensuring that our clients adhere to legal standards (focus on Anti Money Laundering Rules and Regulations) and in-house policies, even from a distance. They will be instrumental in enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business and will provide guidance on compliance matters, including sanction screening, risk assessment, and transaction monitoring. Key Responsibilities

Sanction Screening : Conduct thorough sanction screenings to ensure that the company does not engage in transactions with sanctioned or blacklisted entities. Risk Assessment : Evaluate and analyze the potential risks in business operations and strategies. Provide recommendations to mitigate identified risks. Transaction Monitoring : Monitor and review transactions to identify any suspicious activities. Report and escalate any unusual or potentially illegal transactions. Develop and Implement Compliance Programs : Create, maintain, and update compliance programs to ensure the company is up-to-date with all regulations and standards. Internal Controls : Establish sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them. Ensure that the company's remote operations do not compromise its compliance standards. Draft and Revise Company Policies : Regularly review and update company policies to reflect current compliance standards and best practices. Audit and Review : Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses, even in a remote setting. Training : Develop and conduct compliance training sessions for company staff, ensuring they are well-informed of regulations and best practices. Proposal Preparation : Draft and prepare comprehensive proposals for compliance projects or initiatives, ensuring they meet the company's needs and standards. Collaborate : Work closely with other departments, such as HR and Finance, to ensure compliance across all facets of the company. Crisis Management : Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation, ensuring swift resolution and minimal damage. Continuous Learning : Stay updated with changes in the regulatory environment and industry best practices, ensuring the company's compliance measures are always current. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Proven experience as a Compliance Consultant or Compliance Officer. At least two years of prior experience in consulting / compliance related tasks. Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a remote setting. Proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms. Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Since this is a remote position, the consultant must have a reliable internet connection, their own windows devise to work from and a suitable workspace free from distractions.
