Assistant Manager Technical Services

To prepare preliminary techno-commercial comparisons of plants and equipment related to the plastics pipe extrusion and testing machines from different overseas suppliers. To calculate theoretical weights of the standard plastics pipes and non-standard plastics pipes. To evaluate the technical specifications of the proposed new plastics raw material against the Material Specification Standards (MSS) of the Company. To give the disposition regarding the trial run of the proposed new plastics raw material on the basis of short-term in-house laboratory testing of the finished products. To provide technical input pertaining to the dimensions and testing of plastics pipes as per International standards. To perform activities related to the in-house laboratory testing of competitor’s plastics pipes and sharing the testing analysis. To perform activities in order to develop the Master batch material for pipes for different applications. To provide technical support to QS & QA department for revision and development of SOP’s, ITI and ITP’s of new and existing Plastics & CC products. Job Specification

An ideal candidate would possess : Minimum 3-4 years of experience working with design consultants / engineering or piping industries. Good knowledge of computer-based software in the field of engineering. Information Technology and Services - Karachi, Pakistan
