Job Role / Responsibilities :
Reporting to Manager, Finance you will be responsible for the financial management activities, program feasibilities, and planning and budgeting of academic entities in Pakistan.
Specifically, you will be responsible to;
- assist in planning, budgeting and accounting activities of the University
- prepare feasibilities and costing of the academic programs in order to ensure that the investment made in the new initiative is sustainable and adding value to the university
- analyze program based costing of the academic programs which provide direction to management for future decisions
- responsible for reporting of periodic reports to granting agencies for external grants including conduct of several financial audits
- develop capital equipment and staffing budgets on year to year basis in accordance with the assigned areas’ goals and objectives
- coordinate the process of developing monthly Budget Variance Reports
- develop strategies for continuous improvement of its operations; identify weaknesses and strategies to mitigate the risk
- managing inter-entities operations
- leading the audits of overseas operations
- refine processes for efficient monitoring of budgetary and actual financial / statistical data.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements :
CA / CMA / CIMA or MBA from a reputable university with majors in Financeminimum of four to five years related working experience preferably in a management positionsound knowledge of overall financial systemsable to multitask and think out of the boxexcellent analytical skills; able to motivate team and command respectable to communicate relevant trends and findings clearly and concisely, knowing when to escalatepossess exemplary interpersonal communication and report writing skillsproficiency in computer applications especially MS Officeability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelinesability to work with minimal supervision and to resolve issues independently.
