We are seeking a talented and imaginative Cartoonist / Illustrator to join our creative team and bring enchanting imagery to our books we have been contracted to create. As a Cartoonist, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and expressive illustrations that complement the narrative and captivate the readers' imagination.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with authors, editors, and the creative team to understand the visual requirements for each book project.

Conceptualize and create original cartoon-style illustrations that align with the book's theme and target audience.

Bring characters, scenes, and environments to life through expressive and engaging artwork.

Iterate on illustrations based on feedback and make necessary revisions to ensure the artwork meets the project's vision.

Adhere to project timelines and meet deadlines for the completion of illustrations.

Requirements

Experience as a Cartoonist or Illustrator, with a portfolio showcasing your creative skills and style.

Proficiency in digital illustration software and traditional drawing tools.

Solid understanding of storytelling through visuals, including character design and world-building.
