Assistant Manager Finance
will report to the Finance Lead in Pakistan, and together they will create a positive and productive working environment, agree on objectives and deliverables which will be achievable, and which will also drive the business forward.
What you will be doing
Assist in managing and organizing financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Participate in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements.
Support the financial closing process by assisting in the accurate recording of transactions.
Assist in reconciling accounts and investigating discrepancies to maintain reliable financial records.
Utilise Excel to analyse financial data, create detailed reports, and present findings to team members.
Support the development of financial models and forecasts to aid in decision‑making processes.
Collaborate with the Finance team to provide data and insights for the budgeting and forecasting process.
Help in monitoring budget performance and identifying variances for analysis.
Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
Assist in the preparation of financial audit schedules and responses to audit inquiries.
Identify opportunities for process, propose solutions, and actively contribute to enhanced operational efficiency within the Finance department.
What we are looking for
MBA in Finance, or professional qualifications such as ACCA / ACA (or equivalent).
Articles from a Big 4 firm strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
