Senior Physiotherapist / Senior Lecturer

Responsibilities :

• Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
• Educate patients and physiotherapy staff in preventive health care, curative health care, and behavior as appropriate.
• Liaise with other health professionals to ensure that a multidisciplinary, holistic, and culturally sensitive approach to patient care is maintained.
• Supervise physiotherapists and interns in making decisions about physiotherapy treatment for patients and establishing channels of communication.
• Deliver lectures and workshops to undergraduate and postgraduate physiotherapy students, focusing on research methodologies, evidence-based practice, and advanced clinical topics.
• Guide students in their research projects, including proposal writing, data analysis, and publication processes.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with audit requirements of relevant regulatory bodies, including academic, research, and clinical documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient progress records, fulfill statistical requirements, and contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of high-quality curriculum.
• Provide input and participate in the staff professional development program with particular regard to physiotherapy staff and students.
