Job Objective : The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data-driven reports that support critical business operations and decision-making.

This role involves working closely with internal teams and clients to translate reporting needs into efficient, accurate, and actionable outputs using SQL and other reporting tools.

Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain SQL-based reports tailored to business requirements.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to gather and refine reporting needs.

Optimize and troubleshoot existing reports for performance and accuracy.

Understand and navigate internal systems, data sources, and database schemas.

Provide end-user support and training on reporting tools and output interpretation.

Manage reporting-related support tickets and ensure timely resolution.

Validate report output to ensure alignment with business and operational expectations.

Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Strong command over SQL query writing, performance tuning, and debugging.

Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling concepts.

Demonstrated learning mindset and adaptability to pick up new tools, systems, and domain knowledge quickly.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Good communication skills and experience in client-facing interactions.

Ability to work independently and in cross-functional team environments.

Good to Have : Experience with Sequel ViewPoint (HelpSystems / Fortra) or similar SQL report-building tools.

Familiarity with IBM i (AS / 400) environments and legacy database systems.

Experience with Crystal Reports or other report design tools.

Exposure to legal or financial systems such as Aderant or Juris.

Background in accounting or law firm environments.
