About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Lead to oversee and streamline our financial operations. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end finance functions including bookkeeping, budgeting, forecasting, reporting , and compliance , with a strong command of Xero . This is a strategic role requiring hands-on execution and the ability to provide actionable financial insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting operations using Xero
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
• Develop and track budgets , cost plans , and financial forecasts to support strategic goals
• Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, receivables, and payables
• Monitor and manage cash flow , working capital, and liquidity
• Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Support payroll processing and handle employee expense reimbursements
• Coordinate with auditors , tax consultants , and regulatory bodies as needed
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management
• Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation for audits and tax filing

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

ACCA , CA , or CPA (partly or fully qualified)

Experience working with startups, SMEs, or international clients (especially in UAE or Saudi Arabia)

Familiarity with project-based accounting or SaaS-based business models .
