Education, Qualifications and Expertise : -
- Bachelors / Master's degree in Chemical / Textile Engineering
- A minimum of to years' experience in Compliance Manager or similar position
- Strong knowledge of industry processes and regulations
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
- Should have knowledge of local laws and regulations (of textile industry)
- Certification- Lead Auditor in Environmental Management System
Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities : -
Manage Environment Management System in Pakistan, including noise and other emissions, identify legal requirement in social and environment compliance and ensure Coats facility are following those requirementsEnsure all Environment incidents / near misses are correctly reported to cluster Compliance & CR Manager, through Intelex and other channelsMake certain reporting to group and local Environment Protection Bureau are correct and on timeRepresent Coats for local Environment Protection Bureau meetings, meeting local laws, Coats prescribed standards, ZDHC, ZWTL and other milestones as prescibedWith support of chemical officer, update Chemical Inventory List for Coats PakistanEnsure Material Safety Data Sheet are up to date and labels are align with the requirement of Globally Harmonized SystemEnsure Coats Pakistan Sites are complied with applicable laws, rules and regulationsConduct CR internal audit and drive corrective action planCoordinate brands and other external CR audits for Coats Pakistan, drive the implementation of corrective actionsDeliver supplier code audit, complete audit report and drive corrective action plansDrive Community engagement program in PakistanSupport Cluster Compliance and CR Manager, deliver other CR projectsEnsure ESG Reporting, as per Coats Group requirement
