Job Role / Responsibilities :
You are required to :
develop and implement a community mobilization plan for HRUCs to increase zero dose and routine childhood immunization referrals
develop community profiles, including barriers to vaccine uptake and decision-making structures, and design tailored engagement strategies for each HRUC
mobilize communities, counter vaccine hesitancy, and provide referrals to designated community centers and private health facilities
establish and supervise a trained network of birth attendants, frontline providers, and community-based social mobilizers for zero dose services and awareness activities
organize pop-in vaccination clinics with community support and lead direct community engagement activities
maintain regular contact and strong liaison with stakeholders at UC, district, and provincial levels through meetings, lane sessions, and informal interactions
contribute to activity planning within the project log frame and supervise implementation of community-based work plans
identify lessons learned, document best practices, and communicate within the service provider network
prepare summaries, presentations, and documentation for the project team and external stakeholders
Requirements : You should have :
At least 16 years' of education
possess 8–10 years of experience in community mobilization work
demonstrate prior experience in line managing staff
preferably have experience related to immunization delivery
preferably have experience working in high-risk union councils of Karachi
demonstrate sound knowledge of routine childhood immunization systems
apply strong interpersonal communication skills for immunization advocacy and countering vaccine mistrust among parents and communities
mobilize local and community stakeholders effectively
demonstrate excellent teamwork and field staff management skills
plan, coordinate, and execute complex field activities
manage fieldwork independently with initiative and problem-solving ability
demonstrate proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
possess regional language skills (Sindhi / Pashto) as an added advantage
demonstrate excellent writing and speaking skills in English and Urdu.
