Job Description

Role Purpose :

Serve as the principal HR advisor for all countries within the Arabian Peninsula region. You will translate regional strategy into market-specific HR plans, lead complex HR projects end‑to‑end, and act as a trusted partner to country leadership teams. The role keeps a close pulse on employee sentiment and external trends, assuring compliance while driving a consistent, high‑quality employee experience across the geography.

Key Accountabilities :

Market HR Strategy

  • Shape and execute the annual HR plan for assigned markets in line with regional priorities.
  • Provide market intelligence on talent, compensation and regulatory trends; influence regional policy design.

Project & Programme Ownership

  • Lead cross‑functional HR projects (e.g., annual merit / AIP cycle, engagement action plans, workforce planning).
  • Track milestones, budgets and success metrics; report progress to regional HR leadership.
  • Talent & Succession

  • Partner with HRBPs to identify, calibrate and develop top talent; facilitate succession discussions.
  • Coach managers on career pathing, development planning and objective‑setting.
  • Retention & Rewards

  • Analyse attrition risk, pay positioning and competitor practices; recommend data‑backed retention actions.
  • Draft and administer market‑specific retention agreements in line with global policy.
  • Employee & Labor Relations

  • Act as first point of escalation for complex ER / LR cases up to L3 level; manage investigations and resolutions.
  • Liaise with Works Councils / unions, ensuring alignment with NIQ values and legal requirements.
  • Culture, Values & DEI

  • Champion global DE&I and culture initiatives locally (e.g., Workplace with Purpose, engagement surveys).
  • Facilitate workshops and communications to embed principles and drive local ownership.
  • Change Management & Comms

  • Design change plans and stakeholder comms for reorganisations, policy launches and system roll‑outs.
  • Gather feedback, measure adoption, and adjust plans to maximise impact.
  • Compliance & Governance

  • Monitor adherence to labour legislation, H&S and data‑privacy laws; conduct periodic audits.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date HR process metrics (merit, bonus, SIP, performance reviews, Code of Conduct).
  • HR Analytics

  • Leverage Workday, Power BI and Excel to provide actionable insights to business and HR leadership.
  • Use data to inform decisions on headcount, cost, engagement and productivity.
  • Qualifications

    Skills & Knowledge

    The position carries no direct staff line management but requires project leadership and significant influence across functions and markets.

    Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related discipline (or equivalent experience).

    5–8 years progressive HR experience, including significant exposure to multi‑country or large‑market environments.

    Proven track record advising senior managers and driving HR projects independently.

    Deep working knowledge of employee relations / labor law and performance management best practice.

    Strong data literacy and financial acumen; able to build business cases from HR metrics.

    Excellent interpersonal, influencing and facilitation skills; comfortable with cultural diversity.

    Demonstrated ability to lead change and embed DE&I initiatives. ee in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent business experience.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with managers and employees.
  • HR experience within the Arabian Peninsula region
  • Arabic language
  • Experience with WD system will be considered as an advantage
