Responsibilities :

We are seeking a potential Senior Behavioral Therapist to join AKUH. Based at the stadium road campus, this is a full-time position with key responsibilities as follows :

  • Prepare individual therapy plans for patients.
  • Comply with department policies and organizational quality standards.
  • Perform developmental, psychological and therapy assessments.
  • Develop individualized educational plans for paediatric patients.
  • Conduct assessment related to IQ, Cognitive Behaviour Planning and Emotional & Behaviour problems.
  • Conduct teaching sessions for parents and junior staff.
  • Propose and execute quality initiatives.

Requirements : You should have :

  • At least 4 years' Bachelor’s in psychology / 2 years' Master’s (MS or MPhil) in psychology / Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience of working with children with developmental disabilities, independently in a healthcare organization.
  • Experience in performing psychometric assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of counselling and health care techniques.
  • Expertise of assessment and therapies of patients to monitor and record patients progress.
  • Component in planning and delivering care to a patient with a variety of complex needs.
  • Ability to effectively work in teams as well as independently and contribute to ongoing rehabilitation team building.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly ability to effectively communicate and manage. relationships with peers, rehabilitation team members.
