Senior Manager / Manager - Finance

Overview Senior Manager / Manager - Finance opportunity at ACCA Careers. Location : Karachi. Reports to : Associate Director - Finance.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of qualified accountants and trainees.

Support Senior Management with multiple financial mandates.

Act as the direct point of contact with multiple CEO clients regarding their financials.

Be a designated finance officer with DIFC / ADGM.

Lead the Internal Audit Team in Pakistan.

Ensure data integrity and accurate entry into client accounting systems.

Manage accruals, provisions, and monthly book closing.

Provide accurate and timely financial information.

Prepare client periodic trial balance, balance sheet, and income statement.

Prepare and process Financial Reports and Financial Statements.

Prepare regulatory returns and ensure timely submission.

Assist clients to meet external and internal auditors’ needs, including ledgers, reports, and schedules.

Review and reconcile bank statements for clients.

Assist with other duties including accounting, internal audit, or administration roles.

Plan, coordinate, review, and validate documentation with attention to detail.

Experience & Qualifications

10-12+ years of experience, preferably in the financial services sector.

Big Four experience is a plus.

Must be familiar with IFRS accounting standards.

Knowledge of sales tax / VAT.

Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, etc. is advantageous.

Qualifications

ACCA / CIMA / CA / CFA qualification required.

Master’s degree in finance & accounting is advantageous.
