Overview We are currently looking for a
Financial Analyst
for one of our clients on a
full-time
onsite basis in
Islamabad, Pakistan . Our client is a leader in the renewable energy sector with extensive knowledge and experience in developing, building and operating solar, wind, hydro power plants and storage solutions. They aim to deliver competitive and sustainable renewable energy globally, protect the environment, improve quality of life through innovative technology, and create shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial models, simplify existing financial models, and update the model for lenders and management requirements
Perform sensitivity analysis in the financial model to assess the impact on tariff of various tariff items, risks, or changes proposed by stakeholders
Conduct tariff-related audits by third-party auditors
Conduct cost verifications including due diligence exercises by NEPRA
Follow up with NEPRA and respond to their queries on a regular basis, including additional documentation / info / running model
Support the team in financing and lenders matters, including compliance under project and finance documents
Support stakeholder management including lenders, off-taker, shareholders, Board of Directors, etc.
Prepare budgets, monitor, report and control
Support in all finance and asset management functions as required
Any other work assigned by management
Qualifications
ACA, ACCA, CFA
are mandatory requirements
2-3 years
of relevant experience in auditing, financial modelling and stakeholder management
Preferred experience from the renewables sector or other industries with strong financial practices
Preferred international market experience
Good understanding of IFRS, local accounting, and internal controls
General tax knowledge
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Fluent in English, spoken and written (other languages if needed or ideal)
