Manager, Accounting and IFRS Advisory – Rapid Innovation, Pakistan

We are expanding our Accounting and IFRS advisory practice in the MENA region and are looking for talented professionals with a strong background in financial statement preparation, carve‑out statements, and accounting IFRS support on specific transactions and scenarios. The role will be based in our Rapid Innovations Center of Excellence and will support client engagements across the MENA region. Key Responsibilities
Financial statement preparation in compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local regulatory guidelines Applying IFRS to complex transactions and scenarios Preparing financial information for submission to management and regulators Preparing carve‑out financial statements Preparing management reports, including reporting templates Plan, prepare, and review deliverables in various forms including excel data books, written reports, presentations, and discussions with the client. Assist Partners with business development proposals on existing or new clients and drive innovation in service delivery, ensuring compliance with the firm’s quality and risk management requirements. Contribute to firm‑wide initiatives such as learning and development programs, campus recruitment, knowledge sharing, and practice development. Take up project execution responsibility in a team or individually, review work performed by sub‑ordinates (if any), and provide qualitative inputs before submission of deliverables to seniors or the client, maintaining EY code of conduct, values, and quality standards. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financial Management Minimum of eight years of experience as a Manager in financial consulting Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or MBA in Finance Experience with Big4 firms is advantageous Practical experience in the preparation of financial statements, statutory reporting, application of IFRS, and regulatory submissions Willingness to travel within the Middle East as per project requirements Flexibility to work in diverse teams Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) What We Offer
