Backend Engineer

Backend Engineer – AIO We are looking for experienced professionals with a passion for excellence to design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems while adapting to technological changes. You will drive the software change and release management processes, assist with the overall maturity of the software development lifecycle, and ensure that software deliverables comply with quality standards and are completed on time.

Responsibilities

Develop server-side logic using Node.js, writing JavaScript code to handle requests, process data, and generate responses.

Build scalable applications able to handle high traffic and large amounts of data.

Design and build APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that other applications can use to communicate with the web application.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure the application meets all requirements.

Write and test clean, efficient, maintainable code, ensuring thorough testing and quality.

Manage databases, write queries, and enforce secure data storage.

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development.

Qualifications

B.S. or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical field.

3 to 5 years of hands‑on backend development experience using JavaScript frameworks (NodeJS, Express.js, NestJS).

Knowledge of REST web services / APIs.

Strong database knowledge (SQL, query optimization).

Good experience with TypeScript / JavaScript.

Experience with source control (Git) and CI / CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).

Experience with unit testing frameworks (Mocha or Jest).

Expertise in writing scalable and optimized code.

Experience with other JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Angular).

Interest in front‑end UX development.

Demonstrated understanding of good architectural design principles.

Interest in tooling and automation; exposure to Scrum / Agile environments.

Team player with experience working in international teams and building interpersonal relationships.

Self‑starter with minimal supervision required.Strong problem‑solving skills and quality awareness.

Good English communication skills.
