Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Medical Billing Specialist, based in Rawalpindi, with flexibility for some remote work. The Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process, including verifying insurance eligibility, preparing accurate claims, submitting claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers, addressing denials, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, the role involves regular communication with insurance carriers and clients to resolve outstanding issues and support timely reimbursements.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Medical Terminology and associated processes

Experience with Denial management and resolution strategies

Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and understanding of its applications

Familiarity with Insurance billing processes, including Medicare and Medicaid requirements

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting

Experience in home health or hospice billing is a plus

Certification in medical billing or coding is preferred
