Senior Accountant – Real Estate & Private Portfolio Management

Location : WFH / Pakistan Employment Type : Full-time Contractor agreement About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to manage all financial aspects of a fast-growing real estate development and property management company, as well as the owner’s personal portfolio.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills, and the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

This role requires hands-on experience in real estate accounting , cash flow management , and personal financial administration for high-net-worth individuals.

Candidate will work under the guidance of SVP of Finance and Controller at the ownership's company.

Key Responsibilities Corporate Accounting & Financial Management Oversee daily accounting operations for multiple real estate entities, including development, leasing, and property management divisions.

Maintain accurate general ledgers, reconcile accounts, and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.

Manage accounts payable / receivable, vendor payments, and project cost tracking.

Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports to support business decision-making.

Upload financials to the accounting software through csv.

Work with a property management company in providing instructions on how to ensure capital accounts are properly tracked.  Understanding and auditing property management’s request for capital.

Private Portfolio & Owner’s Financial Affairs Manage financial operations related to the owner’s personal financials.

Track and report personal income, expenses, and asset performance.

Weekly bank reconciliations.

Draft payments, transfers, and reimbursements for approvals.

Maintain strict confidentiality of all personal financial data and transactions.

State sales tax, personal property tax, property tax appeal, and franchise tax filings Able to produce cash flow needs for ownership personally after getting data from business stakeholders Operational & Strategic Support Support real estate transactions, closings, and funding disbursements.

Maintain financial records for all property acquisitions, renovations, and sales.

Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and transparency.

Liaise with banks and financial institutions regarding property loans, payments, and reconciliations.

Liaise with external service providers such as accountants, property management, and investor accountants.

Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Chartered accountant preferred).

Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting within real estate, construction, or property management industries.

Experience in personal or family office finances for high-net-worth individuals is a bonus.

Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks , Excel , and property management software a plus.

Strong understanding of U.S.

GAAP for both accrual and cash basis.

Understanding of U.S.

real estate operators preferred.

Strong understanding of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with ability to communicate to different professionals.

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
