We at Mercantile Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd is looking for an experienced Manager Accounts & Taxation.
Responsibilities include :
- To prepare final accounts as per accounting standards, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements;
- To establish, maintain, monitor, continuously update and integrate accounting system of the company, complying with accounting standards;
- To be responsible for controlling, monitoring and maintaining company's financial resources for business operation;
- To prepare cash flow forecast on a monthly basis;
- To monitor, track and follow-up of accounts receivables and accounts payables;
- To be responsible for timely payments to numerous suppliers as per prescribed process of the company;
- To ensure that all payments and receipts are made according to prescribed company policy and procedure and according to agreed terms and conditions made with suppliers;
- To be responsible for monitoring and renewal of credit limits with banks, if any;
- To prepare monthly budget (on the basis of annual budget);
- To be responsible for overall control of bank and cash transactions and their reconciliations thereof;
- To be responsible for preparation and online filing of monthly Sales Tax return and withholding statements;
- To handle property tax, professional tax, and / or any other government levy;
- To handle all affairs and requirements relating to SECP;
- To prepare and e-file annual income tax returns;
- To prepare Standard Operating Procedures of accounts and finance department to ensure efficient and effective management of departmental operations;
- To establish, maintain and update Information Management Systems (ERP);
Job Specification
At Least CA Finalist
Have at least 5-6 years of relevant professional experience.
Should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Should be well conversant with accounting software / related ERP.
Honest and Hard Working.
Paper, Printing, Packaging & Stationery Industry Experience will be a plus.
