About the role

We live in an exciting time for creativity and creative artists. While technologies like generative AI are revolutionising and - to some extent - democratising creative design, at Circles, we are of the firm belief that these are mere and highly capable tools. The real magic occurs when these tools are wielded by a skilled artist. We are looking for such an artist to join us.

As the Digital Creative Director at Circles, you will be at the forefront of our mission to redefine mobile experiences through cutting-edge digital creativity. You will work with a talented team of creatives to conceptualise and execute innovative campaigns, digital experiences, and brand initiatives that resonate with our diverse customer base across multiple markets. You will drive the evolution of our brand identity and customer engagement strategies while maintaining a high standard of creativity and innovation.

What you will do

  • Creative Strategy : Develop and implement a compelling creative vision that aligns with Circles’ brand objectives and business goals.
  • Team Leadership : Mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers and copywriters, to deliver outstanding work that pushes boundaries and exceeds expectations.
  • Campaign Development : Conceptualise and oversee the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Digital Experience : Drive the creation of engaging digital experiences, including website design, mobile apps, and interactive content, that enhance customer interaction and satisfaction.
  • Innovation and Experimentation : Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the creative team, encouraging experimentation with new technologies and creative approaches.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and technology teams to ensure seamless integration of creative concepts across all customer touchpoints.
  • Performance Analysis : Monitor and analyse the performance of creative campaigns and initiatives, leveraging data insights to optimise future strategies and enhance customer engagement metrics.
  • Budget Management : Manage the creative budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximise ROI and creative output.

What we are looking for

  • Proven Experience : Minimum 8 years of experience in a creative leadership role within a digital agency or in-house creative team, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns and digital projects.
  • Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of digital marketing, mobile technology trends, and consumer behavior in the telecommunications or related industries.
  • Leadership Skills : Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing creative teams.
  • Strategic Thinker : Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business goals into creative strategies and actionable plans.
  • Creative Excellence : Demonstrated creativity and innovation in digital and traditional media, with a passion for pushing creative boundaries.
  • Collaborative Spirit : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
